One of the major objectives of ARI is to find loving, responsible homes for its residents.

Of course, for all of this to work one of the most important aspects of ARI is our network of volunteers. Many of these volunteers give up their days off to donate their time caring for the residents at the facilities. There are many things that need to be done at an animal rescue!

ARI also promotes spay/neuter programs (we also run our own low cost program for those in need), and operates a Crisis Intervention Program which keeps the human/animal bond intact by providing assistance to the elderly, sick, and the infirm.

“Empires of the Jungle”
Explores Central America’s Pre-Historic Past

Museum Of Indian Culture
2825 Fish Hatchery Road,
Allentown Pennsylvania  18103

Discover the rich history of Central and South American indigenous cultures at “Empires of the Jungle (Imperios de la Selva),” a new exhibit at the Museum of Indian Culture in Allentown, Pa. from June 22-September 8, 2013.

For hundreds of years before European contact, the Incas, Mayans, and Aztecs built monstrous cities and monuments, engaged in complex religious rituals, and carved beautiful tools from local materials. “Empires of the Jungle” explores these civilizations as well as surrounding cultures of Costa Rica, the Bahamas and Antilles, the Amazon, and the Mezcala culture of southwestern Mexico. These fascinating and often mysterious cultures come alive through their artifacts, which include a Maya zoomorphic effigy, a Costa Rican Sukia (“healer”) figure, obsidian blades and pendants,  drinking vessels, and much more.
The artifacts in the exhibit include pieces collected by historians and anthropologists in the 1950s and 1960s.

Museum admission is $5 for adults, $4 for children 12-17 and seniors over 62, and FREE for children under 12. Museum hours are Thursday-Sunday 10 a.m.-4 p.m. (special expanded summer hours).

As a foster based rescue, our rescued animals live in homes with our families and our personal pets so we are able to learn a great deal about them and their behaviors.  There is no greater feeling than releasing these wonderful animals into a safe yard and watching them run and play as they should.  They sleep curled up in soft beds in our homes when hours before they layed on concrete floors.  Many have never known freedom or a full belly and they are so very thankful.  This is why we at All 4 Paws Rescue, Inc. do what we do - because they all deserve a home.

Animals Can't Talk Rescue and Adoption, Inc. (ACT) is a 501c-3 corporation, and is an all volunteer organization.
ACT hopes to help as many unwanted, lost and abused animals as they can. All are veterinarian checked, inoculated, treated (when necessary), spayed and neutered (our primary thrust) and cared for until adopted.
ACT's main objective is to find them good homes. We exist only on the kindness of your donations and adoptions.
ACT will also give advice to people who have colonies of ferals and want to do trap/neuter/return.
At the present time, due to lack of foster homes, ACT is mainly concentrating on cats.
ACT is also looking for volunteers who can work amiably with each other for the benefit of the animals.   Visit website to see their great work.
