"Mile for Mutts" to benefit Home at Last Animal rescue!

CrossFit Ironborough
4110 Butler Pike      Ste 102A     Plymouth Meeting , PA  19462

Join CrossFit Ironborough at Compete Athletics, LLC for a "Mile for Mutts" to benefit Home at Last Animal rescue!   Home at Last is a group of volunteers whose goal is to save the lives of homeless dogs suffering in high-kill shelters, as well as owner-surrender dogs who need to be re-homed due to unfortunate circumstances. We are not a shelter, and we have no central location for the dogs we rescue.

We pull dogs from various shelters and provide foster homes until they are adopted. In doing so, we hope to provide an alternative to the purchase of puppy mill and pet store dogs, thereby reducing the demand for, and ultimately, the supply of, such dogs. We strive to match each dog with the right family after the dog has been observed in a foster home.

Come out for a fun fitness event to help defray operating costs for this amazing organization.  Meet some amazing animals that are in need of their FURever homes!
All participants will receive an event t-shirt and goodie bag provided by Whole Foods Market Plymouth Meeting and Bryn and Danes.    Have questions about Mile for Mutts? Contact CrossFit Ironborough    484-344-5424

The Animal Rescue League Shelter & Wildlife Center (ARL) was formed in 1909 by a group of citizens with a shared concern for both animal welfare and the public health. Since opening our doors in 1910, we have remained true to our mission of helping all animals in need, regardless of species or breed. At our Shelter, we care for and find permanent, loving homes for dogs, cats and other companion animals. We have no time limit on an animal’s stay with us – we keep all healthy and friendly companion animals until they are adopted. At our Wildlife Center, we rehabilitate wild animals native to Pennsylvania that have been harmed or displaced by encounters with man. We are the only shelter in the region that takes in and cares for both wild and companion animals.

Humane PA

Harrisburgh/Across the state of Pennsylvania

Humane PA’s mission is to increase the engagement of the Pennsylvania animal community in public policy and to elect officials who believe that all living creatures should be treated compassionately and that deliberate acts of cruelty to animals are not acceptable in a civilized society.

Humane PA is led by a dedicated, volunteer team of animal advocates who are deeply, involved in Pennsylvania politics, who believe that to be an effective force for preventing cruelty to animals, we need to impact public policy,  work consistently and pragmatically with legislators and be organized at the ballot box. It’s time for the animal protection movement in Pennsylvania  to get political!
